Should I play World Of Warcraft?

For whatever reason I have never got around to playing WoW. I enjoy MMO's and have played some of the free ones and had a good time. I was wondering is it worth starting WoW now? Is it still fun and engaging for a new player?

Well aware, thanks. Just wondering what everyone's opinion was on the community for new players.

Been playing MMO's since UO. This is the cream of the crop. Get into it now, before the landscape changes with the next expansion.

Yeah I never had an addiction problem with any other MMO. I think if a video game is the most interesting thing in your life then you need to change some things :?

I tried Guild Wars but couldn't get into it for some reason.

I'd say get now. WoW is a great game especially once you start doing dungeons and raids.

Never heard of people freaking out like this because they couldn't afford the effort to get things they wanted tbh :O

I was talking about people that freaked out because they sucked at doing something while blaming other people for their own mistakes, what a lot of people hate about WoW. I'd give you a handful of clips but sadly they are in my original language.

I'm talking about in general. You said there's people like that, I said yes, in general. Things like that can happen no matter what they're "freaking out" about. People freak out over anything, it's not just in the nature of people who play this specific game. That's the way you seem to be putting it.-Unreal-

Thing is, in WoW they always try to find a reason to blame you no matter what ("FRIGGIN HEAL ME!" "You overaggroed!" "FRIGGIN HEAL ME!" "Stop running around, the tank can't regain aggro!" "FRIGGIN HEAL ME U NOOB!" "Stop doing AoE you moron!" *dies* "WHY DIDN'T YOU HEAL ME NOOB?", I won't even get started with PvP scenes because it would take a week to list all the bull**** I've heard while PvPing), the other online experiences I had are limited to previous Blizzard's games and Unreal Tournaments, and in these games if someone starts screaming at you, you can simply answer "You suck" and they can't come up with an excuse as it's practically impossible to find one.

Im still on my first toon or whatever you want to call it so I am pretty new and I have to say the community is friendly, the game is easy to get into, the graphics are great especially after playing free mmos.
