well i was thinking of pre-ordering splinter cell conviction CE from ebgames... http://www.ebgames.com.au/pc-147947-Tom-Clancys-Splinter-Cell-Conviction-Collectors-Edition-PC

But I have been reading what other people think of the demo and now I am having second thoughts about it. :\

So should I save my money and get somthing else (if so what do you suggest?) or stick with SC:C.

Tell me what you think I should do :)

btw i dont really care about the DRM thing :P

The PC version of Splinter Cell Conviction really demonstrates the massive gap that's now opening up between the PC and the consoles - I'd stick with this if you've got a killer system. But that's just me.

Yes, let me give my money to the developer before the game even releases, and guess what I get? Oh that's right nothing at all. Pre-ordering is pretty stupid, unless you know the game is going to be very hard to get your hands on. Also, two weeks after the game releases there will be a sale. Plus the game is going to suck.

Double Agent = one of the worst 'multi-platform' ports of all-time. Franchise-killing rubbish. I'dwait for reviews. But that's just me.

i played the 360 demo and had immense fun with it. I would pre-order if i had the money and if I wasn't going to get it from steam.

never pre-order any games. Wait for PC users reviews and then buy it.

Now thats silly: I did preorder lots of game , l4d2 too (as you know lots of ppl started whining about sales just few weeks latter) and i dont regret at all. Imo if you know that you would buy a at release date - preorder . Usually you save a bit when preordering. Now if you dont want to play straight away and can wait - wait till price drops.

I'm about to preorder Just Cause 2 because it's $5 off if you do, which is better than nothing! So preordering does have its uses thankyou.
