Should I return my laptop and get another one

i have a gateway laptop that i bough from bestbuy last week and some times i notice that my laptop's screen goes all black but it still says that the laptop is on and the fan is running and the only way to turn off is by holding on the power button.

isnt that what it does when it goes into hibernate? that what mine did,but i turned it off and its fine now

and i guess that i will have to call gateway if it keeps happening cause i bought no protection plan

Uh, you don't need to call Gateway. I'm pretty sure Bestbuy has a 14 day exchange/return policy on laptopsaaron6581230
