I'm on a budget and I still need to buy Windows so the max I can spend is $200 plus to me getting a card for $165 that's a beast and cost $400 a year ago sounds better to me than spending $300 on a new card that hasn't had time to drop. Do you atleast think this is the best card for my price range?

give it a month to actually let the effect of 5870 release significantly decrease the price of 4890

Save up a little more and get the best bang for the buck the 5850, from the reviews its only 10 or so frames slower than a 5870 but costs 100 less!... plus it'll run on a good quiltty 500w PSU.

Juniper XT andLE will be officially named Radeon HD 5770 and Radeon HD 5750 respectively when launched. HD 5770 card is codenamed Countachwhile HD 5750 is codenamed Corvetteand they bothcome with 1GB GDDR5 memories on 128-bit memory interface.Juniper will possess all the features ofits higher end counterpart like 40nm, DX11, Eyefinity technology, ATI Stream, UVD2, GDDR5andbest of all,it is going to be very affordable.

One of thereason why AMD is not mass producing Radeon HD 4700 (RV740)series now is because HD 5700 series will be replacingit soon and will come one month after HD 5800 series. Itwill meet head on against the NVIDIA's D10P1 (GT215) series in October so expect a full fledge war then. With a performancetarget of 1.6x over the HD 4770 and 1.2x over the HD 4750, they are surely packed with enough power to pit against the NVIDIA's lineup. Pair them up and you will get a boost of 1.8x which is roughly the performance ofa Cypress card.

Expected price is around $100-$125 for the 5770. The 5770 is probably going to perform around a 4870.
