should one gt BF:BC 2?

hi all, im a fan of shooters, i don't own BF 3, but i played it with friends. it wasn't as fun i i thought it would be.

im one of those CoD haters, so... yea, BF 3 had it too arcaedy. 

i own RO2, but i want something more modern, and it'll be a while till ArmA 3 comes out, and BF:BC 2 is on sale now so... here are my questions - 

1) is it active?

2) should i get it?

3) is it better then BF 3?

and last but not least - is it somehow more realistic than BF 3?

Yes to all 3 questions. Get it with Vietnam expansion if you can.

Yeah I'd agree with that. BC2 is slower paced than BF3, but it's still arcadey and it's still Battlefield, so if you somehow don't like BF3, I doubt you'd like BC2.

Well there's hardly anyone still playing it, so despite the fact that its a good game, all the action moved to bf3

I love the game but now it's just dead.:(

well i think i'll get it because that steam sales will make the game more active for at least a short time, and i searched "BFBC 2 servers" and i found quite a lot of them, so... i'll try it, worst case, i still have RO2 for realistic, and Planetside 2 for BIG

BFBC2 does some things better than BF3 and BF3 does some things better than BC2. Its too subjective IMO, but overall I prefer BF3. I wouldnt say that BFBC2 is less arcadey than BF3 tbh... They're both pretty arcadey. If you want a more realistic modern shooter then you can pick up ARMA 3.
