Sick of my HD4870, ready for an upgrade

After fighting endless troubles with my Radeon HD 4870 and a bad BIOS flash to the card I'm ready to just junk the thing and get a new card.

Right now I have the following:

Gigabyte UDR3R P45 Intel

Intel E8400 Wolfdale at 3.6GHz

8GB OCZ Reaper PC2 8500

I'm going to be upgrading in the future so I'm not afraid to get something a little overkill, but I'm looking for something less than $200 that will work in this system and possibly with a new Mobo/Core i7 sometime in the next year. The only stipulation is I am NOT excited about buying another Sapphire card.

Any advice?

Well TC didnt state the currency either, is it 200 USD, CDN, GBP, AUD or even Euro?

get the hd 6950 1gb. STronger than the gtx 560, as strong as the gtx 560ti and a lot cheaper.evildead6789

ATM, the cheapest one on Newegg is $240 pre-MIR.
