Hey guys, I just started playing Trine, and I really enjoy it. Are there any other similar games like that? I'd like there to be puzzles, but it's okay their more action oriented too. I just like having this fun nostalgic feel. I'm probably going to download a few emulators since my Sega and Super Nintendo don't work on my HDTVs, hahaha. But I'd like some recommendations for some fairly new PC games. Thanks for the help!

I'll second Braid. That game has some great mind-bending puzzles and isn't really action oriented. It's not a very long game but it's cheap enough to be well worth it.
If you have a 360 try Shadow Complex. If you really want some retro platformers or whatnot, I recommend getting a DS really. There's a ton of good games.
I just like to be able to play on my laptop. I find these types of games a lot more fun and relaxing sometimes, and they're usually a lot cheaper :P I'm in college, so I can't really afford too many console games, and I'm already waiting for NHL 10, AC2, Uncharted 2, and Dragon Age, so I'd like to have some of these great and inexpensive side scrolling titles. I'll try Braid, and I have Aztaka. It's pretty fun too. I just like being able to use a controller, which is why I enjoy Trine so much.
Braid for sure. Can't think of anything else which is new right now. Go for the Oddworld games if you don't mind their age.G-Lord
I thought that the Oddworld games weren't sidescrollers. And I'll play any game really, I'd just prefer some of the newer ones. I might even start of Crash Bandicoot again :P
