Similar Adventure Games

Hi. I absolutely loved both of the Syberia games and both of the Longest Journey games. Can anyone recommend similar games out there? Thanks.

Broken Sword is a series of adventure games, that while not 3d, is planted in realism like Syberia, and dips into the supernatural every now and then. The game has the most gorgeous graphics I've ever seen.

I really enjoyed the Monkey Island episodes from Telltale Games this past year, but these are more fun/comedy adventures than the serious ones like Syberia and TLJ.

They also make Sam and Max, which are good, but i didnt enjoy them as much as Monkey Island.

I've only played the original Longest Journey but the same type of game that really struck me as fun was Sanitarium. Check it out on GoG. Another good one that is third person is Beyond Good and Evil.
