Hey everybody,

I'm looking into buying a new desktop computer but would like to know if it will run WoW flawlessly, seeing as my last laptop promised that it would run WoW, but it lags constantly.

The specs are:

Intel Pentium Dualcore E2180

nVidia Geforce 7050 max 895MB Turbocache

3GB DDR2

And vista installed already,

What do you think?

So that means that it'll run flawlessly, even on raids?

Don't get too excited too quickly. You'll find the framerates to be rather poor unless playing at a very low resolution with an integrated GPU like the 7050.

At the least the computer would need a new graphics card, although it wouldn't take much to run WoW well. An 8600 GT or 9600 GT at least though ($50-100).

Really? Even so bad that it'll slow down to a crawl so to speak?

It can run it. But Don't expect it to be flawless, I tested the Geforce 7200 card out FOR a Desktop, and it was very bad...

Change your settings to low, reduce shadow, reflection, glow, etc and it should run smooth.
