I'm gonna get it. Be forewarned, the game itself may not have SecureRom, but the EA download manager does. So if you don't want invasive programs, seriously think this over. You need the DL manager to update the game, and I think you need it in general.

I'll be getting it but I think more people around here are interested in rpg's and shooters. Looks like it'll be a big improvement and I like the idea of having the whole neighborhood loaded at once.

I want to get it but I don't know how long I can play it for without leaving it on the shelf to gather dust.

The sims 2 lasted me 2 weeks before I got bored of it.

Most people who don't like the sims are just meat junkies who can't take a game without blood and headshots. The sims games are fun if you give them time, they are just..... and unnecessarily expensive hobby.

Yeah, I had a lot of fun with The Sims 2 for just a couple of weeks also. I even bought the Seasons expansion pack, and spent about a weekend on that. I'll buy The Sims 3, but the lack of any goals in the game is a real killer for me. I was convinced that The Sims 3 was going to be much more goal oriented, and more like a life-simulator-RPG in which your character grows and becomes a different person.

All they've done is increase the size of the lot, really.

And by the way, the early word on this title is that it's not going to be great.

My sister wants it, but I'd rather watch TV myself than watch another person do it.

Do you think it will kill Sims2?.... Sims2 killed Sims1...... but anyway, I think Sims2 is great.
