As a matter of fact I pre-ordered the CE one too, but Im still not sure if it's worth it myself, I'd like the flashdrive too. it's like $69?

What's in the box, why should i pay extra? It's not exactly the best lts edition to come out. In all honesty I just want the game.

Sims 3 Collectors worth it?

To me, not even the non-collectors edition is worth it. Oh and flash drives are dime-a-dozen. I got more than I know what to do with them. :)

Theme music? that's lame..... worse than that, I think it says (theme music ringtone) that's means it's for your cellphone. OMG, double lame!!

I preordered the collectors edition as well! I think it's going to be the best game this year. Especially after seeing what is to come for games this year, nothing that looks very good. Sims 3 will definitely keep on entertaining after the first 2 hours, unlike all the generic shooters and lame adventure games out there.

I'm kind of waiting for The Sims 2 with all of its expansions in one package for a nice price. (I've never played The Sims 2.) Obviously I'm not hugely into The Sims, but the first one was fun for a while, and for that kind of deal I'd buy it, but I'm not getting led on with their weird 300-expansion-packs-per-game-featuring-stuff-they-left-out-just-so-they-could-sell-it-to-you-later business model. Also, with The Sims 3, it sounds like the might be getting even more ridiculous with micro-transactions on top of all of that. So, my point is that The Sims 3 isn't worth it for me at all until they have a bundle pack years down the road. :P

I pre ordered and did not get the vintage car or poster is tha only if you order from the Sims 3 website? I got my collectors edition from gamestop.
