Sims 3 Questions

Well I've never gotten into the sims...I've never really been impressed with EAs value in their games...is this another milk fest or would it be fun for someone who has never experienced the sims? Is the value of it worth the 50$? Would I have to buy a tone of stuff after the original 50?

I think you should try sims 2 deluxe.

Sims 3 is very unimpressive. The game runs badly on my Crysis lovin pc. The character customisation pales in comparison to the body shop included in Sims 2. Making a realistic looking person is nigh impossible. Sims 2 is the way to go I believe. It is cheaper has more content and an amazing number of community made things from furniture to Emma Watson.
