I suppose I shouldn't be posting in this thread.. but...

I was 5 in 1969.

I watched the first man walk on the moon with my father. As far as the games go; We played 'kickball' in the street, and 'football' in the backyard. My favorite game at the time was something called Monopoly, it had a cardboard platform and something called dice and tokens for software...there was a similar game called Risk that ran with the same platform and hardware..

aaahh.. the good old days of gaming...;)

Wow Watching the first man on the moon must have been amazing.

When I was 5 I was playing Elevator Action and Space Invaders. I was born at almost the same time as arcade games and it's great to see the evolution video games had in these not so much years.

at five i was doing atari and NES. then at 8-10 SNES, and pc, 9-12+wolfenstine, duke nukem, C&C, fragile, diablo, redneck rampage, blood, shadowarrior,

i remember playing as a teenager, mario 64, and thinking wow, this is so awesome, use to be a pixel that bounced back and fourth off of two other line of 4 pixels, now im playing mario in 3d, and it looks so awesome, and sweet.

cause the n64 kinda blew me away for what it did as a cartridge console...

man so many games over the years, its hard to keep track.

I'd have to say that Star Wars: Tie Fighter and some D&D dungeon crawler type games were the ones I played the hell out of. I was really, really good at Tie Fighter. My little brother played the game a lot, too, but wasn't as good as I was.

The other game I really liked was Relentless. Otherwise I played Doom, Doom 2, Warcraft, Starcraft and other goodies.

It's a shame that Lucasarts doesn't make good games anymore.

yeah i know, but i have to say shadows of the empire was fun. i loved it, it had a mood.. um... jedi knight series was good.. but yeah now its kinda ... ugghhh.. aw man, not really what i wanted.

but that being said i am very excited about the mmo the old republic.. think it has great potential, i just hope the devs and publishers, actually utilize it.
