So I have a few skills at level 100. It's saying if I make a skill legendary, it will be set to 15(?) and return it's perks. So are you telling me if I make a skill legendary I lose all my perks and have to get them all over again? That sounds like I'm being kinda... weakened.... Although I don't know what the hell I'm talking about lol. Can someone please explain this to me?

Legendary skills level up normally, and have no added benefits compared with non-Legendary skills. The purpose of making a skill Legendary is to allow it to contribute to increasing character level again. When all skills reach 100, the character can no longer gain character levels (this occurs at level 81). Making skills Legendary allows Skill leveling to continue, which in turn allows character level to continue to rise. Personally I think it's very stupid unless you're pushing 300 hours. But hey, it's there for someone.

It also gives you infinite perk points. Every time you reset a skill, the perk points are refunded and the skill can be raised again to 100. For example, you put 10 points in Conjuration and reset it to 15. You still have those 10 points. You will have to raise Conjuration again if you want to put them in it, but you will also probably gain a couple levels raising it to 100 again. You started with 10 perk points. Now you have 12 perk points. Eventually, you can max all skills and have every perk unlocked if you wanted. Takes a long time though.
