I am currently running a GTX 260 thinking i need to upgrade for ultra haha, what should i go for under 150 pounds

i'll se using the GT 440, haven't met a game I couldn't play on high yet, and skyrim's specs look pretty modest.

I think i am going to stick with Nvidia as well, i have heard far too many problems with ATI

Mmm i've had no issues with my current ATI card...the thing that is really pushing me towards nvidia is the free copy of Batman :P. At the same time i could try waiting for Cyber Monday instead (batman deal ends nov 17th) and seeing if i can find better deals.

I don't think you need to upgrade your 260 for Skyrim. I have a much slower gfx card, 4670 512MB, and it runs Fallout New Vegas @ 1080p with ultra settings and no AA or "almost" ultra and 2xAA.:D
