Skyrim useless underpowered mages.

Mages in skyrim have been made useless.Spells dont even do good amount of damage.Where as there are simply not enough perks to inc damage done by spells either.You run out of mana way too quickly and then you have run in circles around table to let your mana regenerate.

Here i am having trouble even killing a simple mudcrab on other hand my comapnion was doing a 2hit KO on almost anything with her 2H axe.

So i made a new warrior and just realised that i can kill most of enimes on 1hit from my 2H weapon.Also health regenerates way too quickly.

Warriors have been just made 2 easy where as mages have got the short end of stick.

Agreed. Ranged and melee kick ass in Skyrim but true mage dies like nothing and fighting other casters is really tough since they just cast a shield to block your nuke and you run out of mana.

I tried an all destruction mage and that didn't work too well and melee mobs just run up to you and kill you like nothing since your wearing a robe.

Its also reversed the high level mage mobs in this game are insanely tough. Orc warrior with high hp, max armor and had some 1 hit kill me with nukes.

Just like you don't go pure two handed and also need some block and heavy armor to play a melee character, you don't go pure destruction for a mage either. There's an alteration perk that boosts your armor value to dragonplate level if you're not wearing any armor piece.

Put in some fortify destruction potion and you can kill an ancient dragon with a single thunderbolt.

It does feel rather weak, especially at first, but once you get the "double spell" unlocked and after you get some good gear (do the Winterhold College quest line), then you start to feel a lot more powerful.

You still rely a bit on summoned and hired companions, but I definitely ended up feeling pretty good about my choice to go full magic.

Weird i never encountered any orcs in game yet.

I was playing pure destruction mage and damage output was way too low.Even with using both handed flame spell enemys hardly died.

Fire bolts do good damage but take lot of mana.Even after inputing lots of points in magic mana recover is way too low.

I just swithced my role to healer now. Just heal lydia and let her Do all killings.

Mages are weak?! I've been tearing through draugr deathlords left and right using two handed thunderbolts and dremora lords. Dragons almost get a chance to land near me before they're disitegrated into piles of ashes. Instead of saying "waaaah, mages are weak!" you should be saying "waaah, MY mage is weak!"
