Sleeping Dogs ($9.99) and Tomb Raider ($17.49) are both on sale on Amazon. I enjoy playing all types of games and cannot decide which 1 to buy. Based on peronsal experiences with both games which 1 would you recommend out of the two.

+1 for Sleeping Dogs. Both are good games, but the Hong Kong undercover cop crime drama story of Sleeping Dogs (with a lot of top voice talent) was far more appealing to me than the semi-generic, Indiana Jones-esque archeology-mixed-with-mysticism story and host of forgettable characters from Tomb Raider.

Sleeping Dogs is a fantastic, must-play game, with a great PC version. $10? Don't hesitate. Get it now!
Sleeping Dogs is a great game. Shitty DLC sadly. But the game itself is fun and has a cool setting.
Couldn't get into the new Tomb Raider.
I just finished Tomb Raider yesterday and it was okay for what it was. Â There were far too many QTEs for my liking and the last boss battle has to be one of the worst fights I've ever played in any game (it was just terrible). Â Oddly enough, I've just restarted Sleeping Dogs again after not liking the game at all during my first attempt at playing it. Â I'm not very far into it but I am going to give it more of a chance this time around and see how it goes. Â My initial impression is still not very high.
I didn't expect so many people to prefer Sleeping dogs over Tomb Raider. I thought Sleeping Dogs got boring by the 10 hour mark.
ya me too, its a alright game, but a bad tomb raider gameSleeping Dogs by a LONG SHOT. Tomb Raider was crazy dissapointing for me.

I couldn't get in to Sleeping Dogs for whatever reason but I really enjoyed Tomb Raider despite the QTE's and lackluster story. Naughty Dog could learn a lot from the devs of that game when it comes to actual gameplay mechanics.Â
Both games are great so it all depends on how much time you want out of the game you buy. Tomb Raider is about 7-10hours and Sleeping dogs is 12-20hours depending on your speed and willingness to do other than just main mission stuff.Sleeping Dogs ($9.99) and Tomb Raider ($17.49) are both on sale on Amazon. Currently 50% off sleeping dogs and all it's DLC.
Alot of the DLC is just skins though. Some of it is missions and stuff.
Sleeping Dogs.
Â
Tomb Raider is short, and the multiplayer is kinda bad.
Tomb Raider has a good story, but once you beat the game there isn't much to do other than collect all of the GPS caches/complete all the tombs/etc.
If the enemies actually respawned, this game would have more replay value. Unfortunately they don't, so if you kill all of the enemies and beat the game, you won't have anyone to fight when you go to complete other tasks making it kind of boring.
Â
You can't really go wrong with either game, though.
another vote for sleeping dogs here.
I preferred the story, I liked the main character better. I liked how the game had more depth with its story aswell, that people were not just flat stereotypes (with one glaring exception).
The driving wasgreat, the combat was likely the best in any game of that kind. It looks stunning.
The downside for sleeping dogs is that is is not very long all in all, you DO get some repetetive missions (like you do in all open world games).
So basicly this is likely one of the better open world "crime" games Ive ever playied, where most people are likable, or simply makes you understand the logic in thier point of view. The DLC I would pass, it is none too good.
Tomb Raider on the other hand is what you would expect, it is good for what it does, but there are rarely things that thrills you, it is very by the books. So a fun ride, but you will likely never pick it up again after you finished it.
tomb raider for sure, straight badass and goty IMOSleeping Dogs ($9.99) and Tomb Raider ($17.49) are both on sale on Amazon. I enjoy playing all types of games and cannot decide which 1 to buy. Based on peronsal experiences with both games which 1 would you recommend out of the two.
