I want to put two GTX460 cards into SLI in my system. I only have two 6 pin plugs remaining on my 750w PSU. Each card will need two 6 pin plugs each. Is there a cable that I can convert each 6 pin into a two 6 pin plug? One for each card.

Would something like this work?

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/8251/cab-147/6_Pin_PCI-Express_to_Dual_PCI-Express_62pin_Y-Cable.html?tl=g11c413s427&id=TJi4asNt

HOpe that makes sense.

Thanks

Can you link your PSU? Or exact model name.

Hard to imagine a 750W can't accomadate 2 PCI-E connectors.

Have you considered using two of the 4 pin molex to 6 pin adapters? If you have enough 4 pin molex connectors available that is.

The cable you gave the link to should work as well, just make certain your current power supply has enough amperage to push 2 GTX460s.

Actually he needs four PCIe 6 pin connectors since each card uses two 6 pin connectors.

Most 750w does have !atleast! 2* 6pins and a single 8pin (or a pair), the 8pin is usally a 6+2pin. If it's not a really crappy PSU it should have more than a single pair of 6pin.
