I am a long-term PC gamer, but over the course of the past year I've been buying and playing some games on the X360 console. We already had a PS2 and Xbox in the house (which were used almost exclusively by my kids), but we added the X360 during Christmas last year. When my gaming rig died earlier this year, I decided to try out the X360 as an alternative. Other financial commitments meant delaying getting a new PC.
I plan to get another gaming rig sometime early next year (you can usually pick up some good deals as the product lines change), because I am still, at heart, a PC gamer. But I see absolutely nothing wrong with console gaming. It offers a slightly different experience, but people should game on whatever platform they prefer.
All this 'PC player vs Console player' and 'System Wars' is just immature nonsense. Just because you play games on a different piece of hardware doesn't make you any better (or worse) than anyone else.
