So hard to play Stalker... Come on patches!!!!!!!!!!

lol my computer isnt as good as your and i havent had one single crash..... though i heard that the 8800 gts is having alot of problems with stalker.... new drivers are gonna come out soon to solve this problem...the game isnt that hard... i've allready beat it once and now am playing at stalker difficulty....novice is actually easy.....oh another thing... if you dont want it to crash so often i suggest you lower your lighting settings.... go to the medium one...dont put full dinamic lighting if it crashes every time i know it isnt as good but trust me.... at least it wont crush every time.... even though i play with everything full and still dont have any problems...

Quick question, what unearth is this random flash of light i see and the sky gets all fuzzy then a gust of wind hits me and takes down half my health?Phantsy16

hehe those are anomalies......need to learn about them there are many kinds of anomalies......oh another thing... you are running on vista......even with the new patch it still has major problems..... vista sucks..... im so mad that crysis will only run with direct x10 on vista....hate this bs.....

By the way, the things that hurt you are anomin-something, see the places where the air is all blurred and is sorta like when you toss a rock into water, avoid them, they do bad things to you, toss a bolt into them to see what they do.  

I've also heard there's invisible ones, so keep those bolts ready.

idk y it worked on my game i had everything on full and it ran slow as nuts and when i tried to save the game it crashed, so i turned on static lighting and only the minor bugs are still there none of the major ones 

Sorry to be off-topic, but Crysis runs on windows XP and DX9 aswell.  Most of the video's weve seen is using DX9 anyways.  Just if you want the extra special effects and such you need vista and DX10KorJax

IM sorry but this does not hold water at all think of it EA is publishing Crysis... Last time I Checked EA is the most money hungry company I have ever seen... They are not going to cut 98% of their money just so only vista plays the game.... (98% is just the number I think of as PC gamers still using XP) Yes Microsoft can make halo 2 for vista only because Halo2 has been out for years on the Xbox and they have already made their money off halo2.... so yes there will be the few stupid people out there that will upgrade to vista just to play a 3 year old game...

I still wonder why this overrated game is getting so much praise. The world is big and bland, the UI is clunky and barely functional, the gunplay is terrible and frustrating, (until you get better guns, but even then enemies do not react to getting shot until they die) the story is barely discernable and not at all captivating, and what's with the lack of voice acting on most npcs? Gameplay-wise, this game is a step down from Deus Ex.Disco_Joe

Its called freedom of choice. Some people love it, others hate it. Much like why I cannot understand why people love Supreme 

Commander but I understand its their preference.
