Well when I patched Crysis, I was actually able to play at 1400x1050 with all settings at Very High (but no AA).
My CPU: E6750 @ ~2.7GHz
My GPU: 8800GT 512mb
I can. All high, 1600x1200, 2X AA. ~35-40 average FPS (varies between areas), rarely lower than 30, with 25 as the absolute bare minimum in the most performance intensive moments. I could probably up the AA if I wanted to and not go below 20, but it's not necessary for me. At that res, 2X AA is all I need.
EDIT - Also, on my old rig with a 3200+, 2GB of RAM, and a 7900GT, I could play at all medium except for sound and physics at high, 1024x768, no AA. Averaged about 25-30 I think, with 20 the usual minimum, and very rarely 15 minimum (for like a couple seconds) in the most intensive parts.

Sounds like you're going to be smoking through the game. :) I can play it at high settings, 1680x1050, 2xAA with decent framerates. I'll smoke that game too once I upgrade my cpu and mobo and get another 4850. I'm looking to get an e8600 and crossfire two 4850s, which will probably be less powerful than yours but very much good enough. Happy gaming, mate!

Yes, there is much less annoying 13 year olds that play PC games then XBOX. Anyone who has played Halo on Xbox Live knows what I mean.
E7200 2.53 GHz, 2GB RAM, 8800GT at 1280x1024. All very high, with the exception of shaders, which is set at high only. No AA or AF either, I may add.
20-40 FPS.
Q9450, GTX260, 3.4 gigs of ram (32bit XP). Everything at stock clocks.
I can run crysis at 1680x1050 on Very High (hacked Cvars on DX9) with 2X AA. The game runs 20-35 FPS,
