$10.50. I bought through microsoft's retail training site. I had to take like 6 quizes on windows 7, that took about a couple hours to complete all of them.

$0.00 had it since September and not the RC version but the Win 7 64 Professional. One good reason for going to college among others.

Daytona_178

same here. i can get a legit, free windows 7 upgrade and i don't even know if i'm gonna use it (unless i get a SSD). i'm happy with vista and i'm not sure i'd even like the new windows 7 taskbar/start menu.

i preordered win7 for $50 and already sold it for over $100.

none and to all those that say vista works just fine - vista was inferior to XP in practically every way and was buggy from day one and 7 is much better than any system to come out YTD.

vista is undoubtedly more stable than xp. i never have vista crash to the point i have to restart my pc. i can always get to task manager and close the program. in xp, crashes often left the computer unstable and needed to be restarted. i read an article about this but i forget where it is. but msft definitely recoded how this works and it's much better in vista for sure.
