I would say it's gonna be some major PWNAGE.

Opinions?

More popular does not equal better. It just means the game appeals more to casuals, which is often not the sign of a high quality game.

I think I'll like Rage more because it's a new IP... but I'll enjoy the hell out of Space Marine because I'm a big WH40k fan.

It'll PWN it as bad as your trolling on such topics.

And SM is the one that attracts casuals, not Rage. Casual is the definition of such games.

They look like different gameplay styles to me. rage feels more like a non cell shaded borderlands with less guns while Space marine is more serious sam. Don't see how they can be compared. If your asking which will sell more than I will go with Rage. ID fans outnumber Warhammer fans when it comes to gaming.

*Insert different strokes for different folks comment here*

They be different games man so I doubt that they are in the same market. Also theres that whole disparity when it comes to the release dates. So there isn't really going to be anything resembling competition from both of them and thus no "PWN"-age going on.

Was not super impressed with the SM demo but demos have proven not reliable many times for me so ill get it I think sometime after its out.
Rage though I think ill get on day one, it looks pretty good (although the racing sections worry me a bit).

I was super excited about SM...having played the demo I'm not even going to get it now. Completely one dimensional game so disappointed they made the decision to design the game as an action game rather than the ARPG they originally planned. Regarding Rage? Who knows at this point however nothing I have seen has me blown away or anything.

I think RAGE looks really promising. Too early to tell but it sounds like it's looking to merge ID quality FPS with more open world, freedom and light RPG elements. That (to me) sounds pretty damn good.

SM on the other hand looks really mediocre. I love the WH40k universe, I hope the game will be enjoyable, but it really looks like a simplified version of Darksiders with WH40K skins. My biggest concern though is that the gameplay videos have left me with the impression of a very repetitive game. Hey I hope I'm wrong, I'd love a great WH40k action game. It just doesn't look all that promising to me.

Well, Space Marine is a day one buy for me, already preordered and paid off. Rage I will wait for reviews on. It all comes down to this: I have much more loyalty to Warhammer.

I didnt even know WH40K Space Marine even existed until about 3 days ago. Ive known about Rage for 4 years. I think its a similar situation for most non-warhammer enthusiasts.

This. I freaking love the stuff in warhammer 40k. That and the multiplayer looks like crazy fun.

Well considering they are both different genres.... I am going to say neither will pwn each other since liking the games may have nothing do to with their quality besides the genre. And while we are going with awesomely stupid questions. how much will Skyrim pwn Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3?
