I installed the 9800gt inside my computer..... then i connected the dvi to the gpu and then boot. Evrything went good until the windows welcome screen. I enter my password and suddenly the monitor's power button blinks as if it is not receiving a signal. I tried booting in safe mode but its not working. The driver dvd which came with it had only xp and vista. So i have now removed the gpu and now i am downloading 32 bit drivers win 7. Now how do i install the drivers without plugging the card in?

I reckon either the card is fried or your PSU can't handle it. Though I guess it wouldn't get that far if it was a PSU problem? Hm.

Have you tried a different video output?
