So I just completed Fallout 3... *possible spoilers*

was anyone else dissappointed with the ending? i mean, all that work to save humanity and you don't even get to see the end result... i felt like moses...

Google fallout3nexus,first page...has lots of mods from textures,gameplay effects etc etc and no you dont need to start a new game.

The mod im talking about is called free play after MQ.

I thought the ending was fairly decent and like how it went over your actions during the game. I completed it a few different ways and it was cool to see the ending change due to this.

And the people calling FO3 a terrible game...just lol.

honestly i just want to know if it is worth it,

i was looking to get fallout3, but im waiting till after i upgrade cpu to phenom II.

game was good but i cant say its amazing.

its not even fun to play sidequests. i just ran through the main quest and completed it in like 8 - 10 hrs...
it also just feels like oblivion with guns.

Might want to watch out for the spoiler threads there Lach if you're thinking about getting the game :P lest you don't really mind any potential surprises being ruined.

I think what you need to do is determine is how appealing do you find the genre and type of game that Fallout 3 is. For what it is (open-world FPS/RPG, more RPG tilt and less FPS combat proficiency than STALKER for reference), it's well-done and enjoyable in my estimation.

I agree with alot that has been said, ending no worse than many other games, but perhaps somewhat anticlimactic after a journey of it's scale. Feeling of AMAZING awe precluded the completion of the last mission (thumbs up!), however, ultimately it was rather easy and less fulfilling than expected. Still cool though, and while some issues of course, overall it was a very good game! Had fun, which is the best and most important compliment possible.

yeh, should have stuck with the routine to allow gameplay after the main quest, since there is many other little quests to do and things to discover, why isnt that assumed by now in a game like this?

Thats why you get the explorer perk and do all the side quests :Dslateman_basic

shouldnt be a trick to it, should just beable to continue on
