And I wanted to see how it looked w/ everything on high so I loaded a map and I ACTAULLY GAINED 6-10FPS than I would have gotton on low/med!!! So I tried on all my games(STALKER BF2 CoH AoE3 FEAR etc etc) and the only game it doesnt work on high w/ is SupCom. Weird huh!!!

Explain what? Why it doesnt work on SupCom? I cant tell you but I can give an analogy of how I understand it.

If I were to run Oblivion on low with my rig I would get an avg of 60 FPS run it ultra high i get avg of 80.

My analogy is: Its like a car that wont run slow, if you dont use it to its full potential your not getting all you can out of it so its nice to push it now and then. (Dont know if that made sense, im in a rush to type it so I may have left something out.)

exactly, that's why you get higher FPS at higher resolutions and people are wasting their money if they buy an 8800gtx and run at 10*7. ^i think you mean like how you get less horsepower at the bottom of the power band, but at higher RPMs you get more horsepower out of the engine.

There are certain graphic process that run more efficiently when they are in "full packs". Say the game is only letting your card process two types of lighting on med. But when set to high it processes five types (which is a "full pack" for you card) which lets your card operate more efficiently. Of course diff cards use diff techs so they can't make an "all for one" type game. If you want to find out exactly what is making it run good check out tomshardware. Don't take anything I said word for word (because I didn't look up exactly what those processes are) but you should get the general idea.
