So I started to count how many games I own...

And so far I have 481 games that were $50 or more and over 1000 games including NES and original gameboy games. Now if you ignore the console systems, controllers, etc. and just add the $50 bucks for the 481 games and it was jaw dropping. Considering alot of those are actually $60 for being PS3 and Xbox360. Seriously, $24,000 dollars spent roughly, and we are talking in only like 10 years.

that's about 50 games a year, either all you do is game, or you need to research your games before you buy them because there must be a lot that you only played once or twice.

I wish I still had all the games I've played over the years, I honestly have no idea of how many games I've actually owned.

Well, I own over 550 PC games. But truth be told, quite a bit of them were either bought used or from a bargain bin. I think I've paid 5€ average per game (yeah you could say that I know where to find the best deals. :P) I only started actively collecting in late 2006, before that I had about 20-30 games total.
