So i tried morrowind overhaul... (major issues)

Installed it and it worked like a charm first time. Played all night until 5 am. Woke up this afternoon and the game is a cluster****

First I try and change graphics settings within the mod and now the game is broken. 

tried to reinstall the mod and fix it but it would lock up my whole computer to the CORE but before it did it would say cannot patch because cannot access some files?!?!?!?!

Uninstalled the mod and now i get some funky font error. 

the game wont start because of a font? really? might as well not start because of a fly on my keyboard....

So right now i am downloading morrowind all over again because i cannot find a fix for the font error. 

Anyone else having similar issues?

Yeah I've had similar issues. The overhaul is a collection of mods. The more mods you use, the bigger potential there is for problems. My advice is after installing it, avoid changing any settings. You can install new mods but don't mess with what you already have. Also I recommend using 7zip or something to make a backup of the default game files so you don't have to redownload them if you break something and need to reinstall.

I've also heard a rumor that he's both omniscient and omnipotent so you don't even need to contact him; he already knows.

Thanks i will keep this in mind. 

Ive had to reinstall twice now. Ive tried backing up the files and if the install gets corrupted replacing with the backup but it doesn't get rid of any problems. Reinstalling does.

So I finally got the mod up and running but its LAG CITY. i drop to like 20fps in some areas. jeez

Yeah, you should keep an eye on the OpenMW engine (openmw.org). It's getting pretty close to being useable to actually play the game. I think an updated engine will do a lot to help with this.

The more mods you use the trickier it is to keep the game stable. Best way's to keep track of each mod you DL and fix every minor cock up otherwise you're screwed.
