true one of my friends sold it over a internet site forgot the name and he got scamm just try to sell it to a friend or someone in real life...I sold mine a while ago and got ripped off. Its impossible to sell your account without the risk of getting ripped off. My suggestion is not to do it.

my friend and i both sold ours on www.accounts.net
im not sure if they're still around...but neither of us got scammed.
try it out.
I'll buy it from you. Just PM me the account name and password and THEN i'll pay you. :Perror11
Lol, nice, yet so true. Being as how it's illegal to sell your WoW account, there would be no way for you to get it back if you got scammed. I wouldn't recommend doing it.

i just checked out this website and it is set up exactly like accountsbay.com which scares me...
find someone @ school, work, friends, people you kind of know and know in the real world, then if they scam yea you can track them down.... PointedCow
lol true , that is the most safe thing to do.

I sold mine on this website....then later worked to get my account back when I realized how much they underpaid me. Selling is ALOT safer than buying an account but there is always that chance that you will get ripped off.
Hey, here's something original. Instead of worrying about all the ways of getting "scammed" in selling the account, why not just close the account up.. You had fun with the game while paying for it, so why try to make a profit off it now?

There are several reasons why you should not sell your account, one is that it is illegal but no one cares about that.
The other reasons are much more game related, as the guy that will buy your account will most probably be a idiot that has never played the class in question and just don't want to do the leveling part, and that results in a guy that has no frigin idea how to play and then he joins a guild and spoils not just for himself but for allot of other people.
I tried to sell mine and of course got ripped off, easy fix though just call blizzard and say someone has changed your password they ask you a couple questions about your account if you can answer they reset to your settings,
i know but plenty of people do it and i just dont have much time to play anymoreSportsnumber8
Oh well if its convientient and other people are doing it then by all means break the law.

So basically you scammed the website.
You sold them your account, then used the original details to steal it back off them. Doesn't matter if you sold it undervalue - you still stole it when you took it back.
This is exactly the danger that anyone buying an account faces - the original seller takes back the account using original details
I sold my account for $300. It was a 70 Rogue in blues. Don't worry about getting scammed because as the seller, you are in fact the one who would be doing the scamming (meaning that buyers have very little scamming power). The most they can do is recall their money on Paypal - in which you would reply to Paypal saying that it wasn't a tangible good that was dealt with and Paypal will cancel the money recall.
accounts.com seems to be getting some good reviews can anyone tell me if you have to give out information first or do they give money first?Sportsnumber8
They pay first.
