Clive Barker's Jericholooks like an awesome game,
although I wonder have alot of PC gamers heard of it?
The demo was good although controls were a bit iffy, but they have some time to clean that up.
anyone?

I did...but then I've played the demo. Maybe Undying spoiled me, but I was expecting great serious horror game, while Jericho is like "Clive Barker's G.I.Joe" mod for Painkiller. The game is silly, there's no horror, the acting is as "deep" as Serious Sam. There are some cool bits and pieces here and there, but those cool Barker ideas are wasted in such silly game.

Check out The Thief of always, Imajica, Everville and like that other guy said, The Great and Secret Show. The Books of Blood collection are really good too.

amazing stuff. my favourite is Weaveworld. theres also Cabal (the movie nightbreed is based on it) Coldheart Canyon, The Great and Secret Show, Imajica and one i have been dying to read but havnt found is The Thief of Always. its meant to be killer. his films are awesome too. did you know he wrote all 3 Candyman movies
hell yeah, Nightbreed has just been released onto DVD. if u liked hellraiser and you love old school horror movies (1990) then watch this.gtarmanrob
C'mon, it's nothing like that.Nightbreed is an amazing fantasy movie, more of a grown-up fairytale, with a social meaning beneath it's surface. Really great, but it is not a horror movie...
After playing the PC demo, I'd say no. The crappy button scene near the end when falling down the well was terrible. The combat was weak feeling. Also it ran badly on my PC for such a small area it had to detail, I'd hate to see how sluggish the larger levels play.
This game needs the Timeshift makeover, give it another year and it could be twice as good.

lol i didnt write that very well...i was using Hellraiser as a comparison for Clive Barker's work, not comparing the movie theme/story to Nightbreed. and its technically classed as a horror/fantasy, like most of Clive's work. just coz it doesnt scare you doesnt remove its horror theme. theres supernatural elements, some demonic symbolism as well as (i dare say the word) monsters involved. read the book Cabal. gives a better insight. but yes, it definitely leans more toward fantasy than horror.
