I never got into CoD4 but was wondering with the mess that is MW2, if now would be a good time.
MW2 has always been more popular than Cod4. From the day it was released. I really wouldn't mind getting into MW2 but from everything I read about it I just can't.

Not every gamer uses Xfire. It still gives you a very good idea where CoD 4 and MW2 are at. And CoD 4 went backing be played more after the first months mw2 came out.

All you need to do is go to game-monitor and steam stats to get a clear picture. MW2 has at least 5X more players than COD4. Makes no sense to use steam and xfire with MW2.
