So my computer makes two weird noises and turns on by itself...

My PC used to turn on by itself, but somehow it fixed itself when I got Norton 360.

Doesn't sound like a virus, more like a hardware problem. Canyougo into safe-mode f8? Can you go into your BIOS? Any beeping codes?

Sounds like overheating.

Also does the pc turns on by itself or it restarts by itself?

Hmm, there are two things that could possibly cause your computer to turn off by itself. Wake on LAN which is unlikely or the power plug that you are connected to is varying voltage and causing the computer to act as if it got shutdown during a power outage and turning itself back on.

To check for both of these things, load into your BIOS and see if you can turn them off. If that isn't the case then check to see if your Bios doesn't have an auto-start function that is based off of the system clock your BIOS retains.
