@fend_oblivion:
Well you cant sli two different gpu class's. Also you happen to know the rest of his computer specs?
@04dcarraher: His PC is definitely solid; I asked the fine folks in this board to help build his rig.
He blew a lot of money on the 1080 TI so that he can play 4k @ 60 FPS on his 768p monitor. I told him repeatedly not to get a 1080 TI and that his money would be better spent on a proper 1080p monitor or even a UHD one. He made an impulse buy today.
This was just so funny I had to share :)
@pyro1245: He said he doesn't think he can get a monitor till December or maybe next year (he spent a lot of money for the GPU upgrade). A decent monitor would have gotten him far more tangible results than a 1080 TI.
Not the brightest. LOL
The price of a 1080 Ti can buy you a 1070, a decent monitor and probably still have money left over. That 1080 Ti is a complete waste of money the way he is using it right now. Now he has 2 cards that are both wasted on his shit monitor. LOL
@fend_oblivion: I have a friend that got a laptop with GTX 965m and only 2GB vram and i lol at him every day he has to turn settings down while im maxed out on my 570s
@GTR12: I know that feel :( He has put the "beast" to rest while waiting for it "to awaken" lol. His words, not mine.
@_SKatEDiRt_: I know a guy who bought a Rs. 80,000 (~1240 dollars) laptop despite me telling him that he could buy a custom built desktop for the same price that will end up steamrolling the laptop in terms of performance. He wouldn't listen and he bought the damn thing anyways.
There was another guy I know who bought a Mac Book Pro for "hardcore gaming" LMAO.

Tell him to sell the 1070 use that money towards a good monitor
