So Path of Exile makes it to Steam

A nice convenient method of distrubution, hopefully should bring a nice large batch of newcomers to this free to play and not pay to win game.

I've been out of the game for half a year now so there should be plenty of improvements once I decide to return.

I love good surprises.

Are there lots of gold bot spam in this games chat channels, like there was in Diablo 3?

It was very thin on them, barely even noticed, that was a long time ago though.

It's nothing like the scale of Diablo 2 if that's what you are worried about.

You can toggle both trade and global chat on or off at any time as well, they cannot force messages onto your screen whilst you play.

Played this when it went into open beta. I enjoyed it for a bit, but grew tired of it. I may give it another shot as I've heard they've tweaked a lot since then.

There's no gold. So no. Check the game out. You've got nothing to lose, and I, for one, think it might very well be the best isometric ARPG since Diablo 2, and even better than D2 in many ways. The item/skill/currency systems are all quite unique and refreshing.

I heard about this game but I happen to never seen any game play videos of it. Holy crap it looks awesome.

Gamespot didn't do a good job with the publicity of it. It's really thin on updates.

All the news is about system wars related garbage.

I DLed it but it won't launch. I get an error that says "PathofExileSteam.exe has stopped working."

I have tried running as an administrator and compatibility mode, neither helped.

GS still says the game has not been released yet.... btw best action rpg on the market.

Gamespot only cares about AAA titles that pay to have their games reviewed.

@4th3ist: Actually, they just don't review f2p games very often, unless they're EXTREMELY popular. I don't expect them to review Path of Exile anytime soon, if ever. But I don't care. I don't need a review. I've been playing it for over a year and a half, and I know it's awesome.
