I'm going to be dead honest, I like the 360 version more than the PC version.

You can add PC stuff to a console game. Dedicated servers, server browsers, better graphics, even slightly different shooting mechanics, but a console game will always be a console game.

Everything about it was built from the ground up with a controller in mind. Even the way the gun sways and the screen shakes feels more natural with a controller. Using a a controller with the PC version will put you at a disadvantage as they tightened the hitboxes on the PC version compared to the console version, to better suit the platform. A good move, but I still think it is more of a console game.

PRE-ORDER IT! Yeah the beta was really bad at first but it has gotten better. Keep in mind that it is a beta and they are fixing everything in the full release version. The PS3 version was in beta and now finally has a demo with the bugs fixed. I played many hours and have only come across a few minor bugs that didnt stop me from continuing to play. This has the potential of being the best FPS game of 2010 IMHO.

Err... you CANT add pc stuff to a console game because consoles are too weak and suck too much. PC bc2 >>>> console bc2 SOOO HARD.

I am sorry but this is just not true. How will you be adding "PC stuff" to consoles?

Maybe my memory is failing me, but could you ever shoot while sprinting in Battlefield? Pretty sure you couldn't.

What is the big advantage of pre-ordering a game? I'm never in such a hurry that I have to play it 1 minute after release, and even if I was, I have connections which would let me play the game a day or 2 earlier anyways. When you pre-order, you're giving your money away prematurely for little benefit to yourself, but a huge benefit to the corporations.

If you are deadset then sure, preorder. But then you shouldn't need to ask for advice. If you are unsure, then wait for the reviews to come out. The first couple days are bound to have a few quirks and stability issues that the average gamers couldnt care to miss..

The mouse sensitivity is problematic. However, I heard that they are addressing this issue. The game is pretty fun and I'm sure with all the different modes and maps can last you for quite a while, especially when playing with friends. Best part for me about the game was when I destroyed the Apache with my T-90 tank. I couldn't help but shout "humiliation!". It was beautiful.

As I said server browsers, I didn't say it was much, but they did add some stuff that ISN'T on the consoles. I'm not bashing the consoles here. I am just saying that I feel that this game is best suited for a console.

That is just my opinion. Pre-order the game because it is very good, I personally didn't enjoy the PC version as much.

Of course if you don't have a console you would be missing out on a very great game.

i am playin beta atm and i have to say :

*sure there is a lot of bugs
*sure there is a lot of nubs that run and try to destroy the tank with defibliator (believe me i saw some :D )
*sure if ur attacker then half of ur team takes recon's (snipers ) and camp on that God damn mountain with rock thing on it ...

*but this game is freakin awsome , sniping is hell of a fun
*vechicles are even more fun q-bike is freakin sick , 1 time i even joined almost empty server and did some riding around :)
*combat in overal is freakin great , everything is balanced :
-*you can do some 1v4 and destroy them all
-*you can defeat some1 even if he saw you first
-*you can barely camp somewhere because building gets destroyed or you get smoked by tanks or uav1/apaches
-*you will never feel underpowered just outplayed ...

conclusion : even the beta is worth those 50$ imo , with 1 map and few unlocks and 2 helli spots , damn i am playin this game 4 days straight and still enjoy this limited beta

It does feel like a console game but the PC version just makes it better. There is no sniper sway on the console version... youll lack the dedicated servers. I would disagree and say the PC version is better just because it takes what already is a great game and improves on it. It is no battlefield 3 but its way above MW2 :).

I'd say pre-order it, try the beta, and if you don't like it, cancel the pre-order.

I've opened and closed my support ticket to cancel my preorder enough times. But I finally got the game running decently, and I've been playing in a squad with a couple of friends.. it's a lot better that way. Seems like a good friend-game :)

I would assume up until March 1st, or February 28th. They usually stay like that until either the day before, a few days before, and sometimes the day of release. I recall getting a preorder in on Steam about 5 hours into a day, the game didn't unlock yet, so it still counted.

Was win.
