I played CoP for about 33 hours, and I have to say, its a pretty good game no doubt, but I was kind of forced to start following the story related missions because I had nothing else to do D=
But what I wanted to ask was, Why does everyone hate Clear Sky?
I just dont understand, I played it after playing CoP for so long and I have to say that I was impressed.
The interface imo is far better than Pripyats, and than after 5 hours, I decided to get Clear Sky Complete, and that only made it better =P
The pacing seems to be alittle quick, but theres nothing wrong with that imo, and I still find atmosphere in slowly walking up to an enemy 'camp,' or group whatever, in a storm, and trying not to be seen until I'm ready to strike. Or running into a random mutant while moving through the brush.
I don't know if it was alot of people played it on release and it was buggy or what, but even though its kind of paced fast, I cant imagine why people dont like it considering it does indeed still have atmosphere, and it has good combat situations where you actually have some buddies (whom even continue to get things done without you, which may be odd in a game, but its reasonable. The world doesnt sit still because you are off wandering around gathering supplies, this is war =0)
I just wanted to know what you thought of Clear Sky, and if you have tried it AFTER release where it was no longer buggy?
I personally find it awesome, and so far, even though the rushing may get alittle annoying later, I like it alittle bit more than Pripyat, but hey, shoot me. =D
