So what do we think here about ArmA 2 and Operation Flashpoint 2?

What are we all thinking? They are in competition for us, the gamers, to buy their product. Which one do you think will turn out better?

Furthermore, have you seen enough of these games to decide which will be better for you?

I will buy ARMA2 but not sure about OF2.

yeah im going arma 2 (waiting for reviews and then patch(es)(and another one) if need be) and probably flashpoint 2 as well, im kind of hoping that arma 2 is more simulator and flahpoint is more realistic but not simulator grade, that way im not buying was twice in different places

I went to the ARMA2 website and poked around, but I never got a grasp of how gameplay is. It was just all these cinematic type videos that showed no gameplay that wasn't staged.

I haven't seen anything frpom Flashpoint 2. I think I played the original but never got into it.

I was thinking about getting OFP2 but it is on consoles as well, so I will only be getting ArmA II.

Well Arma 2 is like OF3 since the first Arma is like OF2 being made by Bohemian and all that jazz, hence why I don't give a **** about OF2. And I think Arma 2 is coming to consoles as well. Not to sure though.

Nobody should be choosing ArmA over OFP. OFP is teh king sh*t. OFP came before and is still better.

Well... they optimized the engine, but you're still gonna need a high end PC to run it at high settings...PR is nothing close to this...Arma 2 is waay more realistic in terms of movement,weapons etc.It has a 225 square kilometer map,about 50 towns and villages and 350 km roads...So yeah...It'll rock!
OFP2 will suck...It will be more arcady...You can count on that...I think that although Arma2 will be awesome OFP2 will sell more copies because of it's name...BIS studios made a lot of improvements since OFP so I can't wait to play Arma...If OFP2 delivers half of what is promised I might rent the game :?

Most likely both but I'll be holding off on picking up either until I hear from the simmer community to see whether they're good or just dumbed down console fluff.

I will get OFP2 without a doubt on first day, but AA2 is up in the air for me, ill wait to see hwo to turns out, as i wasnt a fan of the first one at all.
