So what music will you be blasting when you start playing Duke Nukem Forever?

As the title says, when Duke Nukem Forever (FINALLY) gets released, what music would you want to be blasting as you shoot your way through all the damn piggies?

Well for this game I will be blasting its own music... Duke Nukem has always had some kick ass music. And it won't be that damn megadeath tribute song of Duke Nukem... I have heard enough of that song honestly.. Duke Nukem 64, and Zero Hour had better intro music than that track!

As far as before hand... I listen to all sorts of music, all different kinds, but for a game like this, to get hype before hand, or what I like to play while I race.

It will be one of These bands.

1. Nevermore (or any of Jeff's solo work)

2. Dream Theater (always a favorite of mine, new album coming out this year)

3. Anterior, (relatively new to me, only one album out, but they freaking ROCK!!, have a new album coming out soon)

4. Bulb (Misha Mansoor of Periphery)

5. Every now and then a little Sylosis, but I find myself liking Anterior much much more!

Well yeah, I would consider playing As I Am or This Dying Soul to Duke Nukem Forever, if I had to play some Dream Theater. Man they rock.

I'm gonna listen to the Duke Nukem music first if I don't like it I'll probably put on some metal or something.

Over the years I have gotten to where I hardly do it as well.. Except for maybe the Racing games.. thats really the only time when I blast music.. Unless its in the game to add atmosphere it usually takes it away for me. I usually keep the In-game music on, and up to its normal volume, (unless it just sucks or is mainly some RAP or Country, in which it gets muted fast)

But I have high hopes that this Duke Nukem will have great music, just as the previous ones did.

I have no idea. But I can't freaking wait for Friday!!! I can't believe we finally get to play this game.

Haha, weirdly Drowning Pool was the first band that came into my head when I read the thread title.

You can't top this though.

I hardly ever play my own music on my first playthrough of a game. Hell, I barely even play my own music whilst playing shooters at all. The only one that I can think of is Arma 2, and that's only when I'm not in combat.

the in game music? i don't know how people listen to external music when they're playing games.

it would ruin it for me.
