personally two games caught my eye, a 2D platformer called Project Giana and a murder mystery point n´click adventure game called Cognition

Yea Project Giana looks great. There's been several I've upvoted and a few I've downvoted already. I also voted for Project Zomboid, Gnomoria, and McPixel.
I'm kind of unsure about whether we are supposed to be saying "this is a game that is good enough quality to be on Steam" or "this is a game that I am personally interested in." I guess ultimately it won't matter that much.
you should tottally go vote Cognition :PYea Project Giana looks great. There's been several I've upvoted and a few I've downvoted already. I also voted for Project Zomboid, Gnomoria, and McPixel.

Project Zomboid of course, love that game and already have bought a copy, but hope more people support it.
Other than that I think I picked a few random ones, one was Oregon Trail and cannot remember the name for the other but it was an old school looking rpg.
arr, I posted it in another thread before I saw this one.
these ones so far:
- for ones I have heard of:
Receiver, Project Zomboid, McPixel, No Time To Explain, and No More Room In Hell for ones that I knew about! I didn't expect to see No More Room In Hell on it.
- for ones that I hadn't heard of:
Routine, Nihilumbra, A Walk In The Dark
