1984, Animal Farm, A Canticle for Liebowitz, the usual science fiction classics. But really, I think that "Earth Abides" is one of the greatest novels of all time, definitely the greatest Science Fiction novel ever.

Yeah, wrong forum. That said, Anything by Terry Pratchett is worth a read.

Ian Flemings Bond books. I'm a huge Bond fan so of course I would recommend those but they are really good.
