It stands for Massively Multiplayer Online game. For Example WOW(World of Warcraft) is an MMORPG(Massivly multiplayer online Role playing game). Basically these games involve you playing online with many other players either working together, fighting each other ect. In the case of WOW you playing alongside many other players who are doing different quests ect at the same time on the same map. They aren't all working together and they have there own friends ect.
