I just got my friends fx5200 (lol) today and Im trying to install it but whenever I connect my monitor to the vga connection, my screen goes black and stays that way. Any ideas on what could be done? Thanks in advance

no there isnt i used 2 have 1, and i had the same problem. It turned out that i hadnt placed the card well make sure u place it well :P.

he is askin about if ur card needs to be connected to the psu like hdds do and Dvdroms etc, no need for a power cable for that card.

Ive tried placing it in the agp slot several times, and it still isnt working. Doesnt seem worth the effort
