Some Trouble Finding a Game...

Evening Gamespot PC community I know there seems to be too many 'help me find' threads but I could not resist.

For the most part I am a casual gamer. I enjoy the RTS genre but sometimes the fast paced action that I get from WiC makes me take a break from gaming all together. I really want to find some type of game that has a mix of RTS/RPG and City Building. As in RTS/RPG I mean something along the lines of Warcraft III RC/FT and a City Builder that is real time not a over the head view turn based such as Civ. I am one of those gamers who can waste an hour on Stronghold building a large city while having to defend on the side - but nothing to overwhelming.

Favorite Games: Diablo II, Warcraft III, Stronghold Crusader,

Is there any game that has the RTS/RPG elements but also has a laid back city building experince or am I just blowing more smoke for a 'I wish this game was made' (And if this is the case a fantasy rpg/rts real time city builder is something I wish was made >_< )

CivCity Rome looks strictly city builder to me. Ill look into it more.

Which Settlers game is the best? The player reviews are not helping out to much as some people either love it or hate it and dont go into the details of the games.

Until then ill keep searching for some sandbox type games.

I would give Anno 1701 a try.
