My bf bought me a PC Vakoss controller so I could play Left 4 Dead 2 on my laptop. Okay, I apologize if this makes no sense, but here we go... I can't afford the cost of an XBOX controller so no one please make that suggestion. I two joysticks are the opposite of what they are in the XBOX version but I could deal with that, but when I try to set the buttons up for like reload, flashlight, first aid, etc. when I use the joystick to move forward instead of keeping my gun it goes to the first aid kit which is what I had set the up button on the gamepad to be. Does the same with going back, left, or right and I can't set the pad you normal would use for jump and pick up for example at all it just changes the camera angle which is what the joystick bellow it does...so...like I said I don't know how else to example whats going on here. I really wanna play my game but I need glasses so I can't use the keyboard keys properly to plan. Is it the controller that's messed up? If so, then what kind could I get that's affordable? If it's not the controller, is there some special settings I need to do?? Also, when I go to the keyboard/mouse settings for the game the buttons and the joysticks bellow them have the same number or name so if I set the left joystick to move forward I can't use the up button on the gamepad above for first aid, for example. Please HELP ME!! T_T
