The only thing I can think of is that maybe something got stuck in the headers for the floppy IDE channel, and it has shorted and fooled itself into thinking that you have a floppy drive. Did you add any other hardware? Perhaps Windows is just misidentifying some other piece of hardware.theragu40
No i didnt install anything new i just wanted do video card messurments with my sata ports to see if i have room for a double decker video card. that would be a tottal bummer if somthing shorted out but i really appreciate ur help:)
you could check bios to see if it has installed a floppy drive.. and if it has just select it off, maybe your mobo reset to default if it was without power for a while, worth a checkJT-0
