i have the razer baracuda hp 1 head headphonesI dont know about the razer but we are boycotting creative because of their lack of support. But you can do what you want its just... d@m them!!
now i want a sound card, what should i get?
creatives X-fi Fital1ty gaming sound card
or
razer baracuda ac1 sound card
or any other recomendations, thanksRiki101
Ever since I got the Dolby Digital Live! drivers, the Prelude works just fine on my system. (Prior versions without that feature wouldn't install properly on Vista x64, though-not that it matters much when there are later versions that work.) (It seems that despite being a X-Fi-based card, it doesn't seem to suffer nearly as much from driver problems as the Creative-branded X-Fi cards. Weird, since you'd expect Creative to give more support towards their own cards...)als are the prelude buggy like creatives

That wasn't my intention, silly. :P
@Trooper - Animated. :o
@TC - I agree with Guitar, Auzentech would be my choice if not Creative.

also I just optimized it for fast internet access.
does the prelude support eax 5Riki101I certainly wouldn't own one if it didn't support EAX 5.0. (To get to the point, the Prelude has the X-Fi DSP, and thus has EAX 5.0 capability.)
also, whats so bad about creative, i mean thier card is 50 dollars cheaper then the prelude...Riki101The Prelude offers better sound quality, Dolby Digital Live!(though I hear that Creative cards can use it if you get your hands on one of the Daniel_K drivers), upcoming DTS Interactive support, and perhaps best of all, drivers that aren't full of bloatware and work fairly reliably!
