Sound card not working with SPDIF

Hey,

I have the asus rampage 2 extreme mobo and im currently using the creative supremefx x-fi sound card that came with it. However with the sound card i am unable to config the channels so its constantly at 2 channel. i have installed the newest drivers and still no luck. Is there any fix to this, (also there are no optins in the crap software which allow me to change the channels)
