hey guys, im not sure if this is the right forum to ask this, but if anyone can help me with this problem, i would TOTALLY appreciate it.

so i recently upgraded my OS to windows 7, and for some reason, everytime i watch a video through all of my browsers (IE, firefox, chrome); the browser would freeze.

so when the browser freezes, i check the task manager to see what went wrong, and the plug-in container thingy for firefox uses 50% of the CPU; and if im using other browsers, the program would use a lot of memory.

now when i play movies on safemode, everything runs smoothly. so i figured, maybe its the sound card.

i went to device manager and disabled it and i can watch videos again! but with no sound..

so i tried reinstalling the driver for the sound card and flash still keeps on crashing. ive also tried reinstalling it on safe mode and the problem still persists..

im literally out of ideas now... so if anyone can help.. thanks a billion!

oh, and CC cleaner doesnt work either..

When you upgraded to Windows 7, did you upgrade all your drivers, including GPU as well? Go to your device manage and uninstall the sound card completely then reboot. Windows 7 will usually install a generic audio driver that will allow you to get audio from your card. The try flash again. I also recommend reinstalling all your browsers 1 at a time.

And I recommend removing all Sound Blaster devices from your case and rolling your car over them a few times before throwing them as far as you can..
