I recently put a Soundblaster X-Fi for Gamers in (about a week ago) and I've got everything for it installed yet...It hasn't seem to have done anything? and now I'm getting glitchy sound quality in Bioshock (sounds terrible especially on hacking minigame) and (very little) Battlefield 2. I'm running vista and have updated the drives but...it sounds blah and does some odd things (can't stream youtube videos on entertainment mode with headset????). Thanks much for the help!

Check to see if EAX is enabled in the games. If it is,turn it off. Also check to see if the digital output only is checked in the sound card properties. Both have been known to cause problems. You could also check the creative site to see if you have the latsest drivers.

You have to configure the soundcard to your speakers/what you want.

Go to the "Creative Audio Console"

What drivers did you download? The ones from 06? Or the beta ones.
