Apparently when i went through clearing my drive today (getting rid of stuff I don't use) I deleted the sound drivers for my integrated sound.  Is there any way I can get them back w/o the cd, cause the PC was prebuilt and has no cd's. Somebody help, I feel DEAF w/o my music going...

Oh, nevermind. I thought your system specs were in your sig, but at the top it says "Future Rig".

Do what EJSGAME said: go to your motherboard manufacturer's website and look around for an audio driver.

Er, you're gonna need motherboard manufacturer and model. Run CPU-Z and tell me what it says.

That doesn't always help with pre-builts, because their motherboards are often made by a known manufacturer but will only be used in a specific pre-built model and won't be on their site, nor will they provide any support for it. My advice would be to go to the site of whatever brand is on your case (Dell, HP, whatever). Their support section should guide you to the drivers you need.

Although I do question if missing drivers are really your problem as you normally wouldn't just accidently delete those and the back-up, unless you did a complete format or were messing in the windows folder. Check your device manager for red or yellow dots in front of any devices related to sound.

Good thing it's a dell, I just went on the website and typed in the build number, the thing came right up.  I was too busy ckecking intel to realize that cpu-z said it was an intel chipset, NOT made by intel.  Thanks guys. I can hear again.
